Support Query
"Is there any way to obtain a SuperStream rollover report for a fund that is no longer a client?"
Solution
If the fund was deleted from Simple Fund 360, the SuperStream Rollover/Release Authority report cannot be obtained.
Deleting a fund removes its data from Simple Fund 360, including SuperStream transaction history, and deleted funds cannot be restored. This means the Rollover/Release Authority report, along with all other reports for that fund, are no longer able to be generated once deletion is complete.
This is why BGL recommends exporting all relevant reports, including the SuperStream Rollover/Release Authority report, before deleting a fund. If this step was missed, the report is not recoverable through Simple Fund 360.
There is one exception: if the fund was deleted very recently (within approximately 24 hours), deletion may still be able to be reversed. See How to Delete a Fund or Entity for the steps to halt a pending deletion.
If the fund was transferred to another firm, or simply made inactive (rather than deleted), the report may still be available.
In this case, the fund record and its SuperStream history typically still exist in Simple Fund 360:
- If the fund was transferred to another firm, the receiving firm will now hold the fund record, including SuperStream history. The original firm will no longer have access. See Fund Transfer.
- If the rollover/release authority transaction was archived rather than removed, it can be located under the Rollovers & RA Archived/Failed tab and restored for reporting purposes. See SuperStream Rollover and Release Authority: Statuses and Archive Transactions.
