Validation Error
Member closing account balance must equal the sum of the accumulation phase account balance, the retirement phase account balance - Non-capped defined benefit income stream and retirement phase account balance - Capped defined benefit income stream.
This error occurs when the Member closing account balance (Section F & G Label S) differs to the sum of the amounts in Section F & G Label S1, S2 and S3. This can be due to a rounding error or an issue with the member balances being entered incorrectly in the fund's opening balances.
How to resolve this Validation Error
To resolve this error, adjust the values in Labels S1, S2, S3 and S to resolve the rounding issue.
If the validation error results from an issue with the fund's opening balances, please log a support call with the support team to resolve the member balances in the opening balance period. Then reverse and recreate entries.
