When trying to validate a fund's tax return the following error occurs "Member TFN can not be empty."
Solution
To lodge electronically the members TFN is required to be entered into Simple Fund 360.
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Member. |

| Select Member list. |
|
1.Select the member account that is missing the TFN.
2. Click Edit Contact
3. Input the Members TFN and select
4. Once saved navigate to Compliance → Tax Compliance → Section F & G
5. Select the Update Member Information Button.
6. Click Save.
7. You may now validate the SMSF Annual Return.
Electronic lodgement requires the member's TFN to be provided. To lodge without disclosing the TFN you will need to do a paper lodgement.
