CMN.ATO.SMSFAR.436337: SMSF Auditor Number must pass the SAN algorithm

Validation Error 

This validation error occurs when the SMSF Auditor Number (SAN) has not been entered or is incorrect. 

How to resolve this Validation Error 

To resolve this issue: 

1. Select the Edit icon on the Auditor's contact in the Fund Relationship Screen.
    

   

2. Select Show 7 Hidden Fields at the bottom right of the Contact pop-up screen.
   
3. In the Identification section of the Contact pop-up screen, enter the Auditor’s SMSF Auditor Number.
   
4. Once the SMSF Auditor Number has been entered, press Save changes.  
5. Navigate to the Period Compliance screen and Reverse and Recreate Entries to update the Tax Return.
