View a list of all your Contacts in Simple Fund 360. The Contacts Screen is a global database showing all contacts that have been added, synchronised or even migrated from Simple Fund Desktop.
You can add the following contacts to Simple Fund 360:
- Person
- Company
- Trust
- Other Entity
To edit an existing contact, click on the contact and make the relevant change, select Save Changes.
To add a new contact simply select the Add Contact button and follow the on-screen instructions.

Add contact |
Select Add New Contact to add one of the four types of contacts to the contact list. |
Export All |
Administrator users can export a Contacts list into a CSV file. |
Filter by Entity Name |
When set to List View, select Entity Name to filter the contact list by ascending or descending alphabetical order. |
Delete |
Select the checkbox next to an entity name in the contact list. The Delete button will display. |
Attached Entities |
The Attached Entities column will provide you with the number of entities that a contact is linked to. Select the contact to view the Contact Usage Page. |
Types of Contacts
Contact Type (Select a contact type to learn how to add them) |
Explanation |
Create a Person to add to a fund or a company including a member, auditor or advisor. |

Create a Company to link to fund(s). Examples include a corporate trustee or a tax agent. Individuals can be attached to the Company as Representatives. |

Create a Trust to add to fund(s). Individuals can be attached to the Trust as Representatives. |
|
Any contacts that do not fall under the above three types can be added as an Other Entity. An example is a Partnership. Individuals can be attached as Representatives. |
Can I change the Entity type after it has been created?
Once the Entity type has been saved during setup this cannot be changed. To alter the Entity type please create another contact. You will be able to remove the incorrect contact so long as it is not in use. Please check the Contact Usage tab to review relationship links.

When you search in Simple Fund 360, the results are divided into four categories. You can further filter using the following options:

Reset: |
Select the Reset button to refresh the Contacts database. |
Find Matches: |
Shows a list of Contacts with identical names, providing easy access to edit or delete duplicate contacts. |
Contact Usage: |
When a Contact has been selected, Navigate to the Contact Usage tab to review an onscreen usage report. Quickly identify what the selected Contact has been linked to within Simple Fund 360. You will not be able to delete a contact if it is in use within the software. |
Bulk Replace |
Use the Bulk Replace function to replace the existing Accountant, Account Manager and/or Auditor relationship attached for all or selected entities. For more information, click here. |
Integrated Contacts |
BGL provides a range of integration solutions for your contact information. A contact or an entity that is Synced with a CAS 360 entity will show as a synced contact and will display a link to the contact/entity on CAS360.
