Overview
Entity Setup screen aims to streamline the process of setting up an entity within Simple Fund 360. This article will demonstrate how to utilise it, to gain the full compacity of this feature.

Navigate to Home on the left-hand tool-bar | |
Select Entity Setup |
- Select a Badge from the drop-down list. Click on Edit Badge to update badge settings or create a new badge.
- Input a Fund Name and the system will create an Entity Code automatically
- Input ABN and TFN for the fund
- Toggle to Yes or No for entering opening balance according to the need.
- Input the Date Formed of the entity and Financial Period. Financial Year can be selected from the drop-down list.
- Select Create Entity once completed

Entering SMSF data
To better streamline the process of setting up an entity, the system will prompt options for users to select as to what to do next.
In Step 4, if the toggle is set to Yes, the following table will appear.
- For BGL to enter the SMSF's historical data Select BGL Entity Setup Service, for information regarding this service, please click here
- Select Enter Investments Manually to proceed to the Smart-Docs CGT Screen to enter all investments held by the fund individually.
- Select Import from PDF to proceed to the Smart-Docs CGT Screen to upload supported reports.
- Select Import Import from CSV to proceed to the Feed Management Screen to upload custom or broker CSV files.
- Select Input Member Balances to proceed to the Member List Screen to enter the fund's members.
- Select Enter SMSF Details to proceed to the Fund Details Screen to enter specific information relating to the fund such as; addresses, identification and other information.
