CMN.ATO.SMSFAR.436345: Exempt current pension income equal to gross income and other deduction amounts are greater than zero.
How to resolve this Validation Error
The validation error CMN.ATO.SMSFAR.436345 occurs when the fund has paid a pension during the year but does not have any income or exempt income reported in the tax return.
Workaround:
Important information
If you do not wish to apply this workaround, the tax return will need to be lodged manually.
To lodge the return electronically, the tax return must contain at least $1 of income or ECPI. The ATO will not accept electronic lodgements where the amount is less than $1.
Steps to apply the workaround
- Navigate to the Tax Compliance screen.
- Under Section B income, enter 1 into the Exempt current pension income field
