Validation Error
If fund has paid an income stream, it must have paid an income stream to at least one of its members. The paid an income stream if either "Did fund pay an income stream…" is true or there is "exempt pension income" (it's only exempt if it's used to pay a pension).
This error occurs when there is no amount entered into Section F&G Label R2 Income stream payment for one of the members. This commonly occurs when either:
- No Pension payment journals have been journaled to the member's 41600 Pensions Paid account
- A pension has been started on the 01/06/20XX or a member is now deceased and as such, have a tax exemption. Please click here for more information
How to resolve this Validation Error
To resolve this error, review the 41600 Pensions Paid account for the member and the 46000 Benefits paid/transfers out for the member. then Journal any pension payments to the member's 41600 Pensions Paid account.
Label R2 Income stream payment field is populated by amounts posted to the 41600 Pension paid account, so if pension payments have been journal to another account, such as, the 46000 Benefits paid/Transfers out account, then those amounts will not flow into Label R2 Income stream payment field.
