Validation Error
The validation error CMN.ATO.SMSFAR.436155 is regarding the total member closing account balances.
If the fund was wound up during the income year, all members’ closing account balances must be zero. When Section A - Fund information, Question 9 (Was the fund wound up during the income year) is answered as Yes (true), the Total member closing account balances cannot be greater than zero.
This means that Label W in Section H - Assets and liabilities must be reported as zero for a fund that has been wound up.
How to resolve the Validation Error
Using the Wind Up Wizard, please ensure that the member's closing balance is zero.
If the member's account has a negative balance, you may need to use the Member Allocation Worksheet to get the member's balance to zero.
