This article is designed to help link your myID to the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM). myID is the Australian Government's Digital ID app, formerly known as myGovID.
Linking myID to the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) allows secure, password-free access to government services on behalf of a business while managing authorisations for employees or agents.
Step 1: Set up your myID
Download the myID app, available from the App Store or Google Play, and upload your identity documents to validate and prove your identity. For more information, please refer to the ATO help on how to set up your myID.
Step 2 Log in to RAM using your myID and link your business
RAM will allow you to create associates between your ABN and myIDs. Initially, You must be the principal authority (business owner or listed associate on the ABR) to link your business’s ABN to your myID.
1. Go to https://info.authorisationmanager.gov.au/
2. Log into RAM using your myID.
3. Select Link my business to find your business or businesses and add the required information.
4. To review and add your business representatives, click on your entity name

Please note: that you do not need to link your myID with BGL, you just need to link it to your business via RAM. As long as you have linked your myID with your RAM and nominated BGL as your software provider via the access manager you will be able to lodge after the 19/03/2020.
Offshore Employees
If you’re an offshore employee or you don’t have any Australian identity documents – ATO has suggested you can now use your myID with a Basic identity strength to access selected services such as the Business Portal and Online services for agents.
