AUSkey is set to officially retire!
BGL will make a full switch from AUSkey and it will be replaced by myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) on the 19/03/2020. This then gives us a week to troubleshoot any support related matters and as a last resort switch back to AUSKEY before the ATO switches off everything on 27th March.
No change is required within Simple Fund 360 as your services will be migrated across. However, if you haven't already done so BGL strongly recommends that you take the time to:
- Set up your myGovID (myGovId is different to myGov)
- Log in to RAM using your myGovID and link your business
Step 1: Set up your myGovID
Download the myGovID app available from the App Store or Google Play, upload your identity documents to validate and prove your identity. For more information please refer to the ATO help on How to set up your myGovID.
Step 2 Log in to RAM using your myGovID and link your business
RAM will allow you to create associates between your ABN and myGovIDs. Initially, You must be the principal authority (business owner or listed associate on the ABR) to link your business’s ABN to your myGovID.
1. Go to https://info.authorisationmanager.gov.au/
2. Log into RAM using your myGovID.
3. Select Link my business to find your business or businesses and add the required information.
4. To review and add your business representatives, click on your entity name
5. From here you will be able to add representatives or import your previous AUSkey representatives.

For new Simple Fund 360 users check out our help on how to nominate BGL as your software provider with the ATO
For existing Simple Fund 360 users that have nominated BGL as their software provider, no further action is required. When you access Access Manager, the following should display:
Please note: that you do not need to link your MyGovID with BGL, you just need to link it to your business via RAM. As long as you have linked your MyGovID with your RAM and nominated BGL as your software provider via the access manager you will be able to lodge after the 19/03/2020.
Offshore Employees
If you’re an offshore employee or you don’t have any Australian identity documents – ATO has suggested you can now use your myGovID with a Basic identity strength to access selected services such as the Business Portal and Online services for agents.
