Support Query
I have migrated my fund to Simple Fund 360 and cannot locate a bank account which was setup in the 600 account range in Simple Fund Desktop.
Solution 1 - Account Type Cash
The account has been mapped to account 76000 (Other Assets) in Simple Fund 360 as the Account Type in Simple Fund Desktop was set to Cash and not Bank.
To move the account to the 60400 range in Simple Fund 360, complete the following journal on 1/7 of the current financial year of the fund (refer to Transaction Input):
Note: Prior to completing the journal the new bank account will need to be added to the Chart of Accounts. Refer to Bank Accounts.
DR 60400/BANKCODE $
CR 76000/BANKCODE $
To move the asset back into the bank account range.
Solution 2 - Bank Account Inactive
If the bank account was inactive in Simple Fund Desktop (selected in the Chart of Accounts) prior to migration it will not be brought up to Simple Fund 360.
The bank account will need to be created in Simple Fund 360 - refer to Bank Accounts.
Solution 3 - Bank Account had $0 Bank Balance
During the migration process, a validation will review any bank accounts with a $0 balance and if found the following will be presented:
The bank account flagged contains a $0 balance. Select Auto Resolve to mark as inactive or click to ignore to keep the account active. If you select Auto Resolve this will hide the bank account from the bank feed page in Simple Fund 360. It is recommended that inactive accounts are closed prior to migration to avoid clutter in the Bank Feed Management Screen.
If the migrating user selected Auto Resolve the bank account will not migrate up to Simple Fund 360. The account will need to be added in the chart - refer to Bank Accounts.
