Support Query
The comparative column for the Income Tax Expense section of the Notes to the Financial Statements is not appearing for a previously migrated fund?
Solution
Previously the Income Tax Expense note comparatives were not populating for migrated funds. This issue was resolved in Simple Fund 360 release and any migrated funds from December 2015 onward will now include the comparative note.
However, for funds migrated prior to December, to update the note information follow these instructions:
-
Access the migration utility in Simple Fund Desktop.
From the Ribbon Toolbar, select Data In/Out and Migrate Funds.
- Hold the Alt key on your keyboard and right click on the warning message "Funds must be finalised to 30 June". The Migrate Note Items icon will appear below.
- Select the checkbox to the left of fund(s) that require the tax expense note to be sent to Simple Fund 360 and select Migrate Note Items. The note items will be migrated to Simple Fund 360.
- If you receive the following warning message: "The following funds have been de-selected because the last create entries date in Simple Fund does not match the original create entries date migrated to SF360" click Ok. This message will appear if the selected migrated fund has been further processed in Simple Fund desktop and contains a create entries period beyond the last create entries date in Simple Fund 360. Simple Fund 360 will de-select these funds as the note migration is not applicable.
Important: If a fund currently exists on Simple Fund 360 and has been further processed on Simple Fund desktop, these changes will not automatically update on Simple Fund 360. You will need to re-migrate the fund for these changes to take effect. Please contact BGL Support by Logging a Support Call for more information.
