When validating the tax return, I receive the following error:

CMN.ATO.GEN.000406: Address Line 1 contains incorrect 'care of' reference.

Solution

If an address line contains Care of or CO, the error CMN.ATO.GEN.000406 will be sent from the ATO when validating the tax return.

The ATO will not accept the terms Care of or CO in the address lines.

C/ is the term the ATO will accept.

Remove the unaccepted term and revalidate the tax return.
