When validating the tax return I receive the following warning message.
Fund has been Validated however the Audit has not been marked as completed for the financial year 202X
This warning message appears if the Audit status of the fund has not been marked as complete on the Audit Management screen.
This warning serves as an internal compliance check to ensure the Audit has been completed for this financial year. If the audit has been completed or if an audit is not required this warning message can be ignored. The warning message does not impact the lodgement of the tax return to the ATO.
To proceed, there are two options: either ignore the warning or complete the audit from the Audit Management screen. By completing the audit from the Audit Management screen, the audit details will be prefilled in the tax return.
1. Navigate to the Audit Management screen.
To view and edit the Audit Management Screen, users must ensure that they have the appropriate User Roles Enabled. The following User Roles need to be toggled to view and edit the Audit Management screen.
2. Start the Audit process for the current financial year by selecting Add new Audit record.
3. Select the Audit Status as completed, input the information relating to the Audit then Select Save.
4. Return to the Tax Compliance screen
