Overview
The New investment security list now has the option to attach a different custom price for each fund for the same security. This should reduce the amount of securities created for the same investment for different funds.
Navigation
| From the Main Toolbar, go to Investments. | |
| Select Investment Security List. |
Then Click on the investment that needs a different valuation specific to the current fund.
This will open the details of the security, click the Security Prices tab along the top of the pop-up.
Click the Add New button to add a new price to the security.
Then toggle on the Fund Level Custom Price toggle, ensuring that the new price only applies to the selected Entity.
Then enter in the price date and the new price per unit.
Then click the Save Changes button.
The system will then show the custom price and that the type of price is Custom (Entity).
This price will not appear in another fund list of security prices for that security.
From within the Investment Security List, select the Security Name for the security for which you wish to edit a price.
Under Security Prices, select the Custom Price toggle to display Custom prices.
An Edit button will be displayed on the right side of a custom price. Select it.
Update the price date. Then click the Save Changes button.
From within the Investment Security List, select the Security Name for the security for which you wish to delete a price.
Under Security Prices, select the Custom Price toggle to display Custom prices.
A Delete button will be displayed on the right side of a custom price. Select it.
A confirmation message will appear. If you are sure, select Delete Entry.
