Overview

The New investment security list now has the option to attach a different custom price for each fund for the same security. This should reduce the amount of securities created for the same investment for different funds.

Navigation

From the Main Toolbar, head to Investments
Select Investment Security List

Then Click on the investment that needs a different valuation specific to the current fund.

This will open the details of the security, click the security prices tab along the top of the pop-up.

Click the button to add a new price to the security.

Then toggle on the Fund Level Custom Price toggle, ensuring that the new price only applies to the Entity selected.

Then enter in the price date and the new price per unit.

Then click the button.

The system will then show the custom price and that the type of price is Custom (Entity).

This price will not appear in another fund list of security prices for that security.
