A bank account has been successfully set up for the BGL Bank Data Service with the previous status displaying as Feed Operating. This is due to one of the following scenarios:
- After migration from SF Desktop, the status has changed to Awaiting Signature where previously it was operating in SF Desktop.
- The Feed Provider for this bank account to another source (For example, BankLink) and after it has been changed back to the Bank Data Service, the feed status has switched back to Awaiting Signature.
- Feed Status has switched to Awaiting Signature where previously it was Feed Operating after updating BSB
Solution
Migrated Funds
If the fund has just been migrated the feed status may take up to 48 Hours to update. This is due to additional security check to validate the correct fund is allocated and forms have been approved for your Firm. This will occur automatically and we will contact you if there is an issue.
All Other Scenarios
For all other scenarios, please contact BGL using the Log a Support Call function, email bankfeeds@bglcorp.com.au or directly on 1300 654 401 and provide the name of the fund and the bank account details. BGL will be able to switch the status back to 'Feed Operating' after performing a security check.
If the feed has been inactive for some time, you will need to re-request bank transactions for the inactive period. Refer to the Bank Feed Re-Request for more information on how to perform a re-request.
