Overview
At the click of the button, Simple Fund 360 will now generate instructions to help your clients set up the Contract Notes Service for all their brokers.
This saves you time in needing to find the setup instructions for each individual broker by giving you a single ZIP file with all the instructions needed that is ready to be sent straight to your clients.
Instructions
New feed
To generate the PDF file for a new Contract Notes Service feed:
- Navigate to the Feed Management screen
From the Main Toolbar, go to Connect. Select Feed Management from the list. - Navigate to the Share Data Global tab
- Select (+)Setup next to the Contract Notes Service for the fund
- On the final page of the setup, there are three sections to take note of. Please note that the image below is just an example. Explanations of each section are below.
Contract Notes Email Address: This is the unique email address specific to your fund, that brokers will forward contract notes too. This will appear on your broker instructions. Forward all emails to: If you would like anyone associated with the fund, for example the trustee, to also receive copies of the contract notes, you would enter their address in this field. E-Trade/ANZ Share Investing Password ANZ/E-trade accounts typically require a password for this section. The password is always the account number.
Once this information has been entered, click Save then select Save and Download Broker Instructions
Existing Feed
To generate this PDF file for existing Contract Notes Service feeds:
- Navigate to the Feed Management screen
From the Main Toolbar, go to Connect. Select Feed Management from the list. - Navigate to the Share Data Global tab
- Tick the check box next to the existing feed
- Click Broker Instructions to generate the combined instruction file
Multiple Funds
If multiple funds are selected, clicking Broker Instructions will generate a single .zip file containing the .pdf files for every fund. Each .pdf file will be differentiated by a prefix stating which fund the file belongs to.
