Overview

The Chart of Accounts in Simple Fund 360 separates each type of Real Estate investment into the following default categories:

• 77200 - Real Estate Properties (Australian - Residential)
• 77250 - Real Estate Properties (Australian - Non Residential)
• 77300 - Real Estate Properties (Overseas - Residential)
• 77350 - Real Estate Properties (Overseas - Non Residential)

If a Real Estate investment is incorrectly classified, this can be changed through a Transaction Recode.

Instructions

From the Main Toolbar, go to Accounting.
Select Transaction Recode.

1. Select New Transaction Recode. 
   
    
2. Investment must be selected.
   
    
3. Select the investment account to reclassify. All linked accounts will appear. Linked accounts will be moved to their corresponding linked account during reclassification. 
   
    
4. Select the new control account range to reclassify the account to. 
   
    
5. Click Next.
   
    
6. Select Confirm. 
   
    
7. A summary will appear including the user who actioned the change.
