Overview
Simple Fund 360 and Simple Invest 360 allows users to enter a transaction and have the system generate a reversal transaction at a specified date.
Note
The reversal journal can only be posted if there are no accounts with a 'more details' section within the transaction.
Navigation
| From the Main Toolbar, navigate to Accounting. | |
| Select Transaction List. | |
| Either create a new transaction or select a transaction from the Transaction List. |
Instructions
Once the user is in the New/Edit Transaction screen, towards the top right of the screen is the Reversing Journal toggle.
Enabling the toggle will allow the user to set a date for the reversing journal to be posted.
Once the journal is saved, the system will post a journal reversing the amounts at the date entered, with the same description as the original transaction with "- Reversal".
