I can see that I have a Bank Account in the Trial Balance, however the Bank Account isn't showing up in the Transaction list, Smart Marching or the Chart of Accounts. Why not?
Solution
In the Chart of Accounts, the Bank Account is likely flagged as being "Inactive", which is why it is not appearing in certain places. To rectify this issue, please take the following steps.
1. Firstly, we will locate the missing Bank Account. This can be done by accessing the Chart of Accounts, clicking on the Status column, and un-ticking every box besides the Inactive box. Once you have done this, select Apply Filter.
2. Once the Bank Account has been located, un-tick the Inactive Account checkbox and select Save. The Bank Account will be able to be located again as it is now active.
