Making the switch from Simple Fund Desktop to Simple Fund 360 can seem daunting at first, but BGL has come up with two options for clients to consider when managing this project.
Clients are welcome to move data across independently, or alternatively, engage with our specialist Client Success Team to help make the switch with you.
Option 1 - Independent Migration
When you have completed the purchase of your Simple Fund 360, the nominated Account Owner of the license will receive a 'Welcome' email that will ask you to log in, nominate a password and set up multi-factor authentication to access your new platform.
For further information on this process, please refer below:
Select Set Password from the 'Welcome' email. |
Following this, a new tab will open on your web browser that will request you to nominate a password. Please do so using a unique set of characters and letters that you will remember. |
The system will then prompt you to set up multi-factor authentication. Please click here for how to complete this process. |
You should then have access to your Simple Fund 360 and begin inviting other users into the system as you see fit. For further information on how to do so, please click here. |

Migration
Before fund(s) can be moved from Simple Fund Desktop to Simple Fund 360, they MUST all first go through the following prerequisites:
The fund work must be completed and CREATE ENTRIES processed as at 30/06/201X. |

The fund must AUDITED, and Tax Return EXPORTED/LODGED prior to migration. | |
The fund must BALANCED FORWARD to the next financial year. |

Warning: It is also important to ensure NO CURRENT OR FUTURE PERIOD TRANSACTIONS are present.
Once you have completed the migration prerequisites, the fund(s) will be ready for migration. For further information on the migration process, please click here.
Option 2 - Assisted Migration

In order for Client Success to commence the migration of your data, you will then be required to invite the team into your Simple Fund 360. Please refer to the below steps for how to do so:
Once logged into Simple Fund 360, select the App Switcher on the top right of the screen. | |
Select Users. | |
A new screen will load, select the Admin tab on the left-hand side bar . Following this, select Token Management. |

The Token Management screen will load. Select Share with BGL Success. |

Migration
Once migration is completed, please then review the fund(s) to ensure the accuracy of your data before commencing work within your Simple Fund 360. BGL recommend generating the BGL Migration Report Pack to assist with this.

Select the Reports tab on the left side panel of your Simple Fund 360. | |
Once the Reports screen loads, select the dropdown under Select Report Pack. You will then be required to select BGL Migration as your option. | |
A report pack will then generate containing the following reports:
Select Download Report Pack to access these reports in your downloads. |
