I am trying to reverse entries but there is no "Reverse Entries" option appearing on the screen?
If the fund was completed in Simple Fund Desktop and then migrated, the Re-OPen icon will not appear. Prior period information from Simple Fund Desktop cannot be opened or edited in Simple Fund 360.
If you have closed the financial year, you need to re-open the period first before you can reverse entries.
Select Re-Open and the following message will display:
Select Ok to re-open the period.
You will then be able to see the Reverse Entries link.
It is not recommended to make changes to the previous financial year(s) if you have already lodged the tax return(s).
You will not be able to see the Reverse Entries button if The SMSF Annual Return has been lodged for the year. The button will only appear again if you are lodging an amended annual return. Click here for instructions on amended annual returns.
