Overview
The Operating Statement provides a summary of the income and expenses incurred over a period.

Instructions
- Search for the Operating Statement using the Search Report bar. Alternatively, locate the Operating Statement under Financial Reports.
- Add the Statement to Report Pack by selecting the Add To Pack arrow.
- Users can preview it or download it as a PDF, Excel, or Word document. Select
to remove the statement.
- You are able to edit the format of the statement by selecting
in the report pack.
In the settings, you can choose to display market value changes as either a summary or a detailed view showing movement subtotals. In addition, the option to include property expenses in the statement.
FAQs
Why does Other Income or a custom Income not appear in the Operating Statement?
If an income account has been used in transactions but is not appearing in the Operating Statement, please review to see if the account has been attached to the entity. To do this:
- Go to the Chart of Accounts screen
- Use the search bar to locate the account
- Select the account, then click More Details >>
- Under Attached Entities, confirm the account is linked to the relevant entity
Once attached, please regenerate the report. You may also need to save transactions again.
