Overview
The Validation Assistant is an AI assistant built to recognise and guide you through validation errors that arise when preparing the SMSF Annual Return.
This assistant provides you with an ordered list of errors that require action before you can proceed to lodgement.

Instructions
- After preparing and completing the Annual Return, select Validate:
- If the sidebar is collapsed, you can click the Validation Assistant notification bar to expand the list:
- The Validation Assistant will create a checklist of errors, displaying them in a collapsible sidebar:

Clicking the link under each error will redirect you to that section of the Tax Compliance screen, prompting you to resolve the validation error. Ensure to click Save after any changes are made.
- Once all validation errors have been resolved, repeat the validation process to ensure your SMSF Annual Return is complete and ready for lodgement.

How can I remove the validation assistant? You are unable to remove the validation assistant; you must resolve every validation error it lists to be able to validate the annual return.
