It is not intended to replace professional accounting, financial, or investment advice. The information provided by the AI Assistant should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals. The Global Member Balance Assistant supports firm-wide queries across all funds and member accounts, providing member end-of-year balances for the last 20 financial years. This enables faster insights without the need to open individual fund dashboards.
How to use the AI Assistant
Log in to Simple Fund 360 or Simple Invest 360, select an entity, and the AI Assistant icon will appear at the top-right corner of the banner, next to the Help button.
- Choose BGL Global Reports (Beta)
- Ask your question, or select a suggested query
With this assistant, you can:
- Query member balances, including taxable, tax-free, and untaxed components for different member account types (e.g., accumulation or pension) across all SMSFs
- Filter or group results by financial year, member type (e.g., all pension accounts or all member accounts), or specific balance ranges (e.g., members with balances over $3 million)
- Export results as tables, CSVs, summaries, or charts to uncover insights from big data easily
The following global reports are currently available:
- Member Balance Report – FY2015 to FY2025 only.
- SmartDocs Email Report – All entities the user has access to.
Note: We're starting with the above reports, which we believe are most useful to users. The range of supported Global Reports will gradually expand. If you have suggestions or requests for new report types at the global level, feel free to contact us or submit feedback directly through the AI Assistant interface.
Admins and Account Owners have default access to these AI Assistants.
Access for other users can be managed via User Roles under Settings.
- Data is updated daily. The results reflect the previous day's snapshot.
- Reports are point-in-time and may not reflect live changes in progress.
- For large datasets, the AI Assistant may return a CSV first. Simply re-ask your question to get a summary from that file.
