Authority Process (Online Authorisation):
Westpac has moved to an online authorisation process on Westpac Live for bank feeds.
As a result, Westpac Live registered account holders can log in and authorise BGL online.
There is no longer a need to fill in and chase the Westpac bank account holders to sign authority forms as paper forms will no longer be accepted by Westpac.
Account holders will need to register for Westpac Live before you can connect your account to the BGL Bank Data Service online.
Once you have registered, please follow the instructions below:
Important: Your clients now require a unique ID to allow them to activate the Westpac bank feeds online. The unique ID is generated and printed on the printed instructions that are generated when setting up the BGL Bank Data Service in Simple Fund 360.
To setup the bank feed in Simple Fund 360 please refer to BGL Bank Data Service help page.

Accounts Supported:

All Westpac Saving/Deposit Accounts supported (e.g. Cash Management Account)

Loan accounts (approval is subject to the bank’s discretion).
Accounts Not Supported:

BT Financial Group Accounts.

Ord Minnett CMT (BSB 032-847).

Foreign Currency Accounts.

Non-bank financial institution (NBFI).

Westpac SelectCMA Accounts with BSB 336206 and account number starting with 677 - Account type closing 14th of March 2021.

Term Deposit accounts.

Any bank transactions which occurred prior to the inception of the feed will need to be manually imported by either:

Uploading a PDF bank statement to our SmartDocs reader within the Smart Matching screen.

Importing a Bank CSV file through the Feed Management screen.
