There are a numerous potential causes for this issue.
Reason 1 - The issue stems from the Fund Relationship screen. Examples include:

- A corporate trustee attached but no individual attached as a director.
- Accountant and tax agent same person but 2 different contacts selected.
Solution: Ensure that the relevant contacts/signatories are determined in the Fund Relationship screen. Retry to determine if this is the issue.
Reason 2 - User didn't determine the necessary details in the 'Settings' of the report. Examples include:

Reason 3: SMSF Annual Return and attached schedules are available for Docusign only from 2019.
3. The Digital Sign email was not sent when the Send Email button was clicked.
- A possible reason for this issue is that the Digital Signing email templates have been updated with the wrong placeholders. For example:
Solution: Carefully review the Digital Signing merge fields. In this instance it should be called ${recipientName} instead of ${UserFirstName}.
4. Error Message: Invalid request: anchor text not found.
This error occurs when a document template does not include the necessary anchor text to allow for digital signing. This could be any one document within an entire document pack.
- Remember that the template used is based on the Badge selected when generating the email.
- Selecting the Default Badge can allow you to successfully send the documents for digital signing, however this will utilise the default template without any customisation.
Solution: Carefully review the document templates for all included documents to be sent for digital signing, ensuring each document have the necessary merge fields, and that they are correct / not mistyped.
Attempting to send each document individually can help you determine which document is causing the error.
