Additional security enhancements are available when digitally signing documents. SMS Authentication requires the recipient to receive an SMS text message to a specified phone number. The text message contains an access code, which the recipient must enter to view documents before signing.
The recipient has three chances to enter the code correctly. When you select SMS verification, you provide the phone number for the recipient. The number must be able to receive SMS text messages.
Instructions:
From the Main Toolbar navigate to Reports. | |
From the Reports Screen, Select the documents you want to digitally sign. | |
Select Digital Signing. | |
Select Enable SMS Auth. | |
Enter the phone number and select Update. (by default the mobile number entered for the recipient will populate based on the mobile number entered in the Contact List) |

Select Confirm to Continue with the digitally signing process. |
To continue signing the document with SMS authentication:
Click “Send Code”. You will receive 6-digit code to your phone. | |
Enter the code and click “OK”. This code will expire in 10 mins | |
If the code is valid, it will allow you to continue reviewing the document for signing. | |
