I wish to commute multiple pension accounts or process a rollover, however, in the Internal Transfer / Commutation Wizard screen or when posting a journal the accounts aren't available for selection.
Solution
A common cause of this issue is that the Member Account you are attempting to select has been assigned an End Date. Once an account has been assigned an End Date, it is considered to be inactive.
If this is the issue, in order to rectify this you will need to remove the End Date from the account.
- From the Main Toolbar, click on Member.
- Toggle All Member Accounts on.
- From here you will be able to see the full list of Member Accounts. Click on the Account you wish to use and remove the end date.
- Click Save. From there you will find that you can now access this Member Account for what you were looking to process.
