Support Query
When recording a contribution, the error 'An error has occurred. Reference No. <xxxxxxxxx>. Please try again. If error persists, please contact our Support Team with the reference number' appears.
Solution
This occurs when the contribution is recorded to a ceased member account.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Member. | |
Select Member list. |
Ensure there is no end date entered for the member that you are trying to post the contribution to.
For the member with an end date entered
- Edit the member account

Remove the date from the End Date field
- Click Save
The contribution will now be able to be entered without errors.
