How do I split a payment between a pension and a lump sum.
Solution - (Data feed active)
|From the Main Toolbar, go to Accounting.
|Select Smart Matching.
Locate the pension payment and select Review
Select Split, which will allow you to allocate the amount across multiple accounts.
Select the pension payment account (41600/MemberCode) review the more details, and adjust the amount of the pension payment.
Click the Add Transaction Button, search for the 46000/MemberCode Account and allocate the shortfall amount
Review and update the more details for the Lump Sum.
Select Match to allocate the transaction.
When the lump sum is less than the member's current balance then there is no need to Create Entries.
Manual Data entry
From the Transaction List you will be able to split a transaction across multiple accounts by selecting Add Line.
