Convert amounts from foreign currencies using the Fast Spreadsheet Data Input (Cash Code) screen.
- From Smart Matching, Select Data Entry.

Select the currency of the bank account. Copy + paste/input spreadsheet entries into the Fast Data Input screen (date, Dr/Cr, Description). The XRT. column will automatically populate with the end of the day rate sourced from the RBA.
- Select Create to add the entries to the Smart Matching screen for account coding.
After inputting an entry, a question mark appears instead of a green tick?
The date you have recorded does not have an available rate. The last available rate will be used for that conversion.
how do I set up a foreign bank account and advise BGL what type of account it is. You can set up a bank account, then import the transaction via the smart matching screens data entry spreadsheet. This has the option to change the currency using the exchange rates provided by the RBA.
