The Bank Feed Management screen
This dashboard provides you with all the information you need to manage the bank accounts setup for the Bank Data Service in SF360. From this screen you can manage the:
- Details of the bank accounts setup for the Bank Data Service
- Status of each bank account (Setup Required, Awaiting Authority or Operating)
- Setup of new bank feeds
- Bank feed settings
Actions
The Actions column keeps you informed with the steps you are required to complete for the bank feed to commence operating.
The Actions that can appear are:
Action | Explanation |
---|---|
Blank | When the Actions column is empty, no further action for the account is required. |
Setup | A bank feed has not yet been set up for this bank account. |
Import CSV File | Upload a CSV file for this bank account. Refer to the CSV Importer help file for more information. |
Feed Status
The Feed Status column allows you to view the current status of the bank account feed.
Status | Meaning |
Awaiting Signature | A Bank Authority form has been created for the BGL Bank Data Service and BGL is waiting for the signed form to be returned. |
Sent to Bank | BGL has received a signed Bank Authority Form and has submitted the form to the Bank. Automated Bank Data is only available from the time the authority form was approved by the financial institution. Approval may vary between 10-15 business working days. |
Feed Operating | Your Bank Data feed is operating. This has been confirmed by BGL receiving either a Balance or Transaction from the Bank. |
Resent to Bank |
The Bank Authority Form has been resubmitted to the Financial Institution for approval. BGL will email the Product Contact on file to inform if any action is required to process the Authority Form. |
Bank Approved | The Bank has received the signed Authority Form which has been approved. |
Account Closed |
When the Financial Institution informs BGL that the account has been closed Simple Fund 360 will automatically update the status to Account Closed.
However, if this information is not passed on, BGL will be unable to determine the account status. If this occurs you have two options to remove the account from the Bank Feed management screen. Firstly you can navigate to the Chart of Accounts, edit on the Bank Account, and switch the bank account to inactive. The account will not display in the Bank Feed Management screen.
Alternatively, email Bankfeeds@bglcorp.com.au with the account details so the status can be updated to Account Closed.

Account Type Not Supported | The Bank Account is currently not supported in Simple Fund 360. Check out the help to review Supported Banks - BGL Bank Data Service. |
Transfer of Authority Pending | The Bank account was previously registered under a different firm. BGL are awaiting a new authority form to be returned. |
Error - Invalid Signatory | The Bank has received the signed Authority Form, however a signature on the form does not match the one the Bank has on file. BGL will email the Product Contact on file to inform if any action is required to process the Authority Form. |
Error - Signature not on file | The Bank has received the signed Authority Form. However, the bank does not have the signatory on file. BGL will email the Product Contact on file to inform if any action is required to process the Authority Form. |
Error - Further Approval Required | The Bank has received the signed Authority Form, however further approval is required. BGL will email the Product Contact on file to inform if any action is required to process the Authority Form. |
Error - Account Details Invalid | The Bank has received the signed authority from. However, the bank account details are invalid. BGL will email the Product Contact on file to inform if any action is required to process the Authority Form. |
Error - Contact BGL | Please contact BGL Support on 1300 654 401. |
Cancelled Feed |
Your Bank Data feed which has been operating has now been cancelled on request. |
Awaiting BGL Form Validation |
A signed bank authority form has been uploaded and BGL is in the process of validating the form before sending it to the bank. It will typically be sent to the bank within 1 business day of upload. |
Error - BGL Form Rejection |
The uploaded signed bank authority form has failed BGL's validation and the Data Services team will be in contact. |
Relevant statuses have been broken down into further sub-statuses for more detailed information and instructions for bank feeds requiring action.

Re-Request
Transactions from the previous day will be automatically imported each night. In addition to this, you may re-request transactions for any given period using the inputs below.
From the Feed Management, Select the feed you wish to request transactions.
Select Re-Request Transactions.
Input the date range for the request. Select Import.
Re-requesting transactions will not double up on transactions that have already been imported
Removing/adding back accounts in the Bank Feed Management screen
Inactive accounts can be removed from the Bank Feed Management screen by selecting Inactive Account when editing the bank account in the Chart of Accounts.
- From the Main Toolbar select >> Accounting >> Chart of Accounts.
- Filter the Chart of Accounts by typing 60400 into the search field.
- Select the + sign for 60400.
- Select the account to deactivate.
- Select Inactive Account and Save.
To activate a bank account to appear back on the bank feed screen, follow the above steps and untick Inactive Accounts instead.
