Overview
To support Open Banking, certain actions must be completed for Bendigo Bank before authorisation can be granted, allowing BGL and Skript to receive bank data.
Pre-Consent: What needs to be done before Authorisation?
For business, trust or other organisation type (including SMSFs)
For accounts owned by non-individuals, individuals can be set as ‘nominated representatives’ on the account, permitting data sharing relating to that account. This is set up by completing the Add Non-Titled Member Form to add your ‘nominated representative’ access to the account.
Please contact your nearest branch or your relationship manager to complete the form.
For Individual and sole trader:
You should be able complete the data sharing consent process immediately, provided you:
- be over the age of 18,
- have access to e-banking.
-
Be an eligible CDR customer. This means that you either:
- have at least one open Bendigo Bank account, owned either individually, or jointly with one or more other individuals aged over 18, or
- have been appointed to share data on an account that you do not own.
For joint account:
All account owners need to “allow sharing” on that account prior to starting the process with a provider. All customers need to:
- sign into e-banking
- go to the Data Sharing & Permissions menu
- select joint accounts
- select the button next to the account they wish to allow sharing on
Once all customers have allowed sharing, any account owner can then set up a data sharing arrangement with an accredited provider.
