Notification of rejected SuperStream message for SMSF
I recently switched from Class to BGL 360 and since the switch one of the clients' employer get below message every time she process his super payment:
Original ESA: smsfdataflow
You may find the message in QuickSuper after logging in under SuperStream -> View Messages and search using the above Conversation ID.
SMSF messaging service providers are identified using an Electronic Service Address (ESA) alias. This rejection notification indicates that the original ESA was wrong or the SMSF has not fully completed their registration with the provider. You will need to contact the employee to resolve this for future contributions
I saved the alias in BGL 360 as smsfdatflow but still getting same error message. Please help to resolve query.
Kind Regards,
Veepa

Hello Veepa,
Thanks for reaching out. It looks like this fund was previously registered with Class, and the employer's payroll system may still be sending contributions to the old ESA rather than the new one.
Simple Fund 360 provides its own ESA, BGLSF360, free of charge once the fund is registered for SuperStream in SF360. Could you please check:
- That the fund is registered for SuperStream in SF360 under Connect > SuperStream Dashboard (status should show as Registered).
- That the employer has been notified of the new ESA. You can generate an Employer Notification Letter from the SuperStream Dashboard (select the fund > Export > Notification Letters) and send this to the client to pass on to their employer.
Once the employer updates their payroll system to use BGLSF360 instead of the old ESA, future contributions should process without this rejection.
For full steps, see: SuperStream: How to register in Simple Fund 360
Always happy to answer any further questions
