OPPT.AX - Magellan Global Activities Fund ETF security price updates
There was a corporate action on 15 Sep 2025 where MHHT.AX (Magellan High Conviction Trust) was reissued and renamed as OPPT.AX (an active ETF).
1. BGL has not published a Corporate Action item. Is this because they are waiting for a Class Ruling from the ATO? (There doesn't appear to be one ... yet.)
2. I created a manual Corporate Action creating a new investment and account for OPPT.AX. The security is trading but there are no daily price feeds updating in SimpleFund. In the Investment Security List the "Price Type" is "N/A".
3. I am unable the change the price type. How do I get the price to update to "system" price type? (As I created the OPPT.AX security manually the feed source has defaulted to "manual" and can't be changed.)
4. If I update the daily prices manually, will the system start to automatically update when BGL finally recognizes the ticker OPPT.AX, or do I have to delete my manual account and investment setup entries?
Cheers, Glenys

Hi Glenys,
Thank you for reaching out and creating a community post.
1. I can see the share code/class change action in the corporate action screen for the 15/09/2025 in my test fund. I assume that when you tried to process this corporate action, it had not been added to Simple Fund 360 at that time.

You should be able to process that, and Simple Fund 360 will select the system security that includes the system prices received.
2. This is correct. If the security is manually created, then there will be no price data; you will need to add the data manually.3. You are unable to change the price type, as the price feeds are only available to securities created by the system. Manually created securities must have their prices entered manually.
4. Again, no, it will not, as the feed will be connected to the system created OPPT.AX. I recommend deleting the manual account and then processing the Share Code/Class Change corporate action that is available. This will ensure that it uses the system security, so the price data will be attached.
I hope the above answers your post and if there are any further questions, please reply to let me know so I may assist further.

Thanks so much Christopher.
Yes, the corp. action was not available at the time of input. I created it as there was distribution income received for the new security code.
I've deleted both the manual corporate action transaction and then the manual investment account. Found and processed the system generated corporate action, so now all of the ASX prices are available. (Had to reassign the distribution transaction to 94910 a/c first and then re-apply it to 23800 a/c afterwards.)
Your help is greatly appreciated.
