    Hi Roger,
Unfortunately, the Fast data entry does not allow for debit and credit entries on the same line, the work around would be to enter the debit values on a separate line. Then in the Transaction list, match the debit and credit transactions with the relevant foreign dividend account.

I hope the above answers your question and if there are any further questions please reply to let me know so I may assist further.

    Hi Roger/Christopher,

I have the same problem with my selfwealth $us account. I am looking at importing an excel spread sheet (from the annual report) of all the dividends into  "Fast Data Entry" . Unless u have any better suggestion?

Does BGL have the data feed of $us selfwealth dividends on their enhanced request list?

Also what code did u use for "DIV FEE"

    Thanks Jim 0425745110

I took the easy way out by just entering the Net amount of the dividend. I could not work out where to show the tax etc if I entered the Gross amount of the dividend.

    Hi Praveen

The easiest way to enter foreign transactions in bulk may be by using the Fast Data Entry feature.

You can follow the steps outlined in the article below:

    Hi Praveen,

I have about 30 $us dividends that are to be entered into BGL. I wonder if u could email me jumlees@gmail.com and maybe we could discuss the most effective methodology of getting our dividends into BGL.

    Hi Jimmy,

    Thanks for your question.

There are no plans to support this at the moment. However, I’ve passed your feedback on to the product team for their awareness.
